Get Skilled Targets the Skills Students Need
Get Skilled is specifically designed for students performing at levels one and two and students in applied level courses. Get Skilled offers students very specific tasks. Reading and writing selections target the skills a student needs to pass provincial literacy tests and high school courses. Students work their way through all of the following literacy components: information paragraphs, supported opinion writing, news articles, the writing of news stories, comprehension skills, multiple choice answers, graphic text, vocabulary building and defining words in context.
